Yesterday i went on field work  for one of our client  which incidentally is a bank, ( i was a mystery customer checking out that particular branch)

I walked straight to enquire section and was greeted with a amile and a polite "what can i do for you ma". I asked him about opening an account with  the bank and he patiently  explained the procedure, gave me some account opening form and even assigned an account officer to me.i then told him  was looking to invest. At these point i knew i was taking  a lot of time, but wanted to gauge his reaction and how he would handle the situation . He  gave  me a couple of brochures  and  introduced me to a consultant that would explain and advise me on the funds to invest in.
At this point i must confess i was really impressed  and wondering if this bank was  naturally attentive, patient and polite or whether it was because i was well dressed. In retrospect i would say both.
People remember that "looking good is good business" and we are our own brand ambassadors.
